The 3rd Annual Georg Schmerholz Jade Carving Exhibition will be held from June 13–15, 2025, at the Custom House Plaza in Monterey, California, as part of the 6th Annual Monterey Bay Jade Festival.
This exhibition honors the legacy of Georg Schmerholz, a master sculptor renowned for his innovative jade artistry. It showcases a diverse array of jade carvings from artists worldwide, spanning various styles and skill levels. Visitors can expect to see intricate sculptures, jewelry, and ornamental pieces crafted from both Nephrite and Jadeite jade, reflecting a rich tapestry of cultural influences.
The exhibition is a highlight of the Monterey Bay Jade Festival, which features over 45 vendors offering jade carvings, jewelry, sculptures, and raw jade from around the world. Additional festival attractions include live music, food and beverages, and the International Jade Summit on June 14, featuring lectures by jade experts.
